Earlier we saw Asus officially confirming that the new Asus ROG Phone 2 will come with SD855+ chipset. Now ahead of July 23 launch we finally got the new live images showing the Asus ROG Phone 2.
As per the source, the new Asus ROG Phone 2 will look similar to the predecessor with standard 18:9 aspect ratio display having slightly thicker bezels. The Asus ROG Phone 2 features dual stereo speakers on the front along with selfie shooter located on the topright corner.
Further, we have an image showing that the display refresh rates can be reduced from 120Hz to 90Hz or 60Hz directly from the settings panel. Hence it confirms that Asus ROG Phone 2 will indeed come with 120Hz refresh rate but sadly with unknown resolution.
Further, we have spotted the alleged Asus ROG Phone 2 passing through Geekbench which leaks the key specs. As per the listing, the Asus ROG Phone 2 as ASUS_I001DC which is now powered by the latest SD855+ coupled with whopping 12GB RAM.
It runs on Android 9 Pie. The device managed to score all-time high with 11103 under multi-core and 3616 under single-core test.
