Earlier we had got early renders with key specs leaked for the alleged Sony Xperia 2 which is the second flagship of 2019. Now we have spotted the alleged Sony Xperia 2 listed on the User Agent Profile which confirms the model number along with codename.
As per the source, the new Sony Xperia 2 will arrive in two models with J8210 and J8010 and are codenamed as SPHINX and HORUS as per another tipster. Both the models will have support for 5G networks out of the box. Since the Sony Xperia 1 comes with model J8110 we guess the new J8210 is the alleged Sony Xperia 2.
But we can even expect it to be called Sony Xperia 1 Premium or Sony Xperia 1 5G too. as per the source, the alleged Sony Xperia 2 aka J8210 will sport standard 16:9 aspect ratio FHD+ display but the other model J8010 comes with 2K resolution similar to Sony Xperia 1. Anyway, we can expect both the devices to come with 21:9 aspect ratio displays and are expected to launch later in IFA Berlin.
