Earlier we saw Xiaomi launching their first flagship for India with Redmi K20 Pro instead of Pocophone series. We also had some rumours about the new Poco F2 to be launching soon with SD855+ chipset. But now new reports suggest another side of the story probably bad news for Poco fans.
As per IDC reports, the launch of Redmi K20 Pro at aggressive price hints that there will be any device under Pocophone. The new Poco series were called the flagship smartphones for Global markets including India but with the launch of Redmi K series, there is high doubt of Xiaomi continuing with Pocophone series.
So we can never see the Poco F2 if this reports turned out to be true as Xiaomi might kill the Pocophone brand itself in the future for the new Redmi K series. Further, we also had reports of some top-executives leaving theXiaomi Pocophone which also hints to the closure of the brand. Anyway, we have to wait for an official announcement.
