Earlier we had few rumours about the new SD865 will be made by Samsung instead of TSMC because of advance EUV process. Now one of the popular tipsters just revealed that there will be two variant of the flagship chipset SD865 from next year.
As per the source, Qualcomm is now working on an upcoming high-end chipset with SD8250 aka SD865 as per their employees. There will be two variants of the SD865 chipset with codenamed Kona and Huracan one might arrive with 5G support others without.
Anyway, further, both the variants of SD865 will have support for LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.0. The new SD865 will not launch anytime sooner than Dec 2019 and will be available to manufactures only from Jan 2020.
