Earlier we saw Honor announcing their plans to launch the first 5G phone by end of 2019. Now we have another brand who has already worked with telecom operators successfully for 5G networks with none other than Nokia.
As per the source, Nokia is planning to launch not one but two 5G phones by Q3 of 2019. One of the Nokia 5G phones will be the true flagship with SD855 SoC whereas the other device will come under the mid-range segment with SD7xx SoC.
Further, Nokia is also working on the successor of Nokia 8.1 with Nokia 8.2 along with the successor of Nokia 9 PureView which might launch later this year. Sadly, we are still unsure about the exact specs and other details about the upcoming Nokia 5G phone but might be priced competitively.
