Earlier we saw LG announcing the timeline for the much awaited Android 9 Pie update to its devices. Sadly, LG didn’t roll out the update as per the timeline and now finally the company has managed to give the Android 9 Pie update to its last year flagship LG G7 ThinQ.
LG has finally started rolling out the new Android 9 Pie update to its 2018 flagship LG G7 ThinQ in Europe. LG has earlier rolled out the Android 9 Pie update to LG G7 ThinQ in South Korean users in the month of Jan 2019. Now a few users from the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, and the UK are finally receiving the update on their LG G7 ThinQ.
The new Android 9 Pie update weighs around 1.4 GB in size and will bring the latest LG UI on top along with May 2019 security patch. Is really disappointing that the company is lagging behind in providing regular Android updates.
