Earlier we had numerous rumours about the US Band lead to drop Android OS completely and work on a custom OS called the Ark or Oak OS which is set to debut later this year. Now we have some relief to Huawei and Honor users as the company has internally started testing the new EMUI 10 based on Android Q.
As per the source, they have already begun testing of EMUI 10 based on Android Q with all Google apps pre-installed on the new Huawei P30 Pro. FunkyHuawei runs unofficial Huawei ROM for Huawei phones but the source claims that Huawei has already begun testing the new EMUI 10 on their phones.
So this brings relief to those who still own Huawei/Honor devices as the company is busy working on Android Q based EMUI 10 for older devices. From the leaked screenshots we can confirm dark mode is all set to arrive with EMUI 10 and will have the same UI as seen on EMUI 9.0 with almost no change in icons. Sadly, we are still unsure when will it release. Hope Huawei releases the new EMUI 10 soon.
