Earlier we saw a few leaks about the new MIUI 11 which is expected to launch later next month and will bring lesser ads. Now Xiaomi has released the timeline for the much-awaited Android Q update based on MIUI for Xiaomi or Redmi devices.
Xiaomi MIUI administrators have now released MIUI Notice on Android Q Upgrade Adaptation Plan on their forum. As per the plan the devices which will get the new Android Q update are Mi 9, Redmi K20 Pro, Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi 8 Pro, Mi MIX 2S, Mi MIX 3, Redmi K20, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 9SE.
The above list of devices is scheduled to receive the MIUI update based on Android Q by Q4 of 2019. Further, the Redmi Note 7 & Redmi Note 7 Pro are scheduled to receive the update by Q1 of 2020. The above schedule might be delayed further and is not final as the community will notify the user. Do note that the above timeline is for Beta version of Android Q update and not for the stable one as it might take some more time.
