Earlier we saw brands like Samsung, LG, Huawei and Xiaomi jumping into the 5G smartphone race which has already hit European markets. Now we have another smartphone brand all set to enter the 5G smartphone race with none other than Huawei sub-brand Honor.
In an interview with popular website Honor President Zhao Ming said that they are planning to launch their first ever 5G phone by Q4 of 2019. The company will make use of rich technology reserves for its future proof 5G phone.
Further, the company also promised that will launch a cheaper 5G phone later this year. Honor President hopes that their company might increase its revenue by 50% in non-Chinese markets. Anyway, by the time Honor launches its 5G phone we can expect some cheaper alternative already dumping in the markets.
