Xiaomi finally launches the Chinese variant of Redmi Note 7 as Redmi Note 7S in India. The new Redmi Note 7S will have the same internals as the original Redmi Note 7 but with the upgraded 48MP rear sensor. The new Redmi Note 7S will arrive in Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red colours.
The Redmi Note 7S is priced at Rs.10,999 for 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB at 12,999/- in India. The new Redmi Note 7S will go on sale from May 23 via Flipkart, Mi.com and all Mi Home stores across India.
he new Redmi Note 7S comes with a glossy glass back with a gradient design. The Redmi Note 7S weighs around 186 grams and is 8.1 mm thick. The new Redmi Note 7S sports 6.3 inches FHD+ (2340 ×1080p) waterdrop display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D Curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection on both front as well as the back of the device.
Redmi Note 7S is powered by the SD660 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. It comes with microSD card slot up to 256GB. The new Redmi Note 7S features AI Dual rear camera with a 48MP primary sensor which is currently using Samsung GM51 sensor, 0.8um pixel size, having an aperture of f/1.79 along with 5MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.2, PDAF, EIS, and LED flash. There is 13MP selfie shooter at the front with AI beauty and Face Unlock features.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack with AK 98937 Smart PA audio DAC, IR sensor and fingerprint scanner. The new Redmi Note 7S runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on top. The Redmi Note 7S packs 4000 mAh battery with Qualcomm QC 4.0 fast charging support. It also features p2i splash-resistant coating on top.
