Earlier we had got the Vivo Y3 listed on China Telecom website which revealed the renders along with key specs. Now Vivo has quietly announced the second mid-range triple rear camera phone with Vivo Y3 in China. The new Vivo Y3 comes in peacock blue, peach pink and ink blue colours. The Vivo Y3 is priced at 1498 Yuan (Rs.15,300/-) and is up on sale.
The new Vivo Y3 looks similar to recently launched Vivo Y17 with a waterdrop notch and triple rear cameras. The Vivo Y3 measures 8.92 mm thick and weighs around 190 grams. The new Vivo Y3 sports 6.35 inches HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio IPS LCD display.
The new Vivo Y3 is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card. The new Vivo Y3 features triple rear cameras with a 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 along with 8MP 120 degrees ultra-wide angle sensor aperture of f/2.2 coupled with a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4) and LED flash.
The Vivo Y3 features 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, FM Radio, micro USB port and 3.5 mm audio jack.
All this is packed by large 5000 mAh battery with 18W flash charging support. It runs on Android 9 Pie with Vivo FunTouch OS 6.0 on top. The Vivo Y3 also comes with built-in game box, the Game Cube for the smoother gaming experience.
