Earlier we saw Samsung rolling out the much-awaited Android 9 Pie update to few of its budget offerings with Galaxy J6+ & J8+. Now Samsung is expanding its update to few more devices with Galaxy On 7 Prime or Galaxy J7 Prime in India.
It is shocking to see Samsung rolling out the new Android 9 Pie update to such an old phone with Galaxy J7 Prime that launched in 2016. Anyway, the rebranded version was launched later last year with Galaxy On 7 Prime which is also getting the latest Android 9 Pie update along with all new One UI on top.
The new OTA update weighs over 1GB in size and also gets the latest May 2019 security patch along with it. The new update brings Night mode aka Dark mode system wide, Scene optimiser on the default camera app and a lot of other features. Do check out under setting panels for the latest update.
