Earlier we had few reports and patents leaked which showed the working on in-display fingerprint scanner on the upcoming iPhone. Now that’s soon gonna become reality as new reports suggest Apple is all set to bring back the Touch ID on 2020 iPhone’s.
As per the reports from Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis who has got details of the 2019 & 2020 iPhones from suppliers within Apple’s supply chain. According to them, all the three 2019 iPhones will no longer feature 3D Touch ID feature which will be replaced by Haptic Touch which made its debut on iPhone XR last year.
Sadly, this year iPhones will not come with major design changes apart from additional cameras on all the iPhones. The new iPhone XR 2 will now feature 4GB RAM over the 3GB on the original. Finally, they also revealed some of the major updates to 2020 iPhones.
As per the source, the new 2020 iPhone will come with acoustic fingerprint technology which will bring all-display Touch ID along with 5G Support, 3D Sensing aka AR support on the rear cameras and all the iPhones will come with OLED display from 2020.
