Google promised that it will soon launch a cheaper Pixel device to take the competition to the next level with the new Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. After various leaks and rumors, we finally have the new Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL official. The new Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are priced at Rs.39,999/- and Rs.44,999/- respectively.
Both the new Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will go on sale from May 15 across India through all leading retail outlets. The device will be up on pre-orders through Flipkart starting from today. The device will come with eSIM support from Reliance Jio and Airtel along with three months of YouTube Music subscription for free. Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL come in Just Black, Clearly White and Purple-ish colors.
The new Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL come with a polycarbonate back with a similar design as the Google Pixel 3. The new Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL measures 8.2 mm and weighs around 147 grams and 167 grams respectively.
The new Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will sport 5.6 inches and 6.0 inches FHD+ OLED with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with HDR support and protected by DragonTrail Glass on top. Both the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are powered by SD670 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There is no microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Both the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL features 12.2 MP single rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8, 1.4μm pixel size, 76 degrees FOV, Dual PD AF, OIS, EIS, 4K Video recording at 30fps and LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and 84 degrees EOV. Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL come with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity option includes Single SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE through eSIM, Dual Band Wifi with WiFi 802.11ac 2x2MIMO support, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack. Both the devices come with Stereo front-firing speakers. The Pixel 3a packs 3000 mAh battery whereas the Pixel 3a XL with 3700 mAH battery with 18W fast charging support. Both the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
