Looks like Oppo took the sliding mechanism from Oppo Find X seriously to the next level as the company files a patent for a device with pop-up and sliding display. Earlier we saw Oppo bringing the sliding camera trend to the flagship and now we have another new trend might soon be official with sliding display.
As per the patent, Oppo might be working on a device with a sliding and pop-up display this time. As per the images, we can see the new Oppo device featuring a pop-up display that slides up to give an extra display over the main display.
The second patent is for the sliding display which slides similar to Oppo Find X. But sadly, the new patents don’t get wow factor as it still comes with bezels covering the display which doesn’t give the full-display experience what we are expecting for. Anyway, Oppo might launch the sliding or pop-up display phone in the future.
