Earlier we saw Honor the sub-brand of Huawei busy working on the upcoming Honor 20 series which include the new Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro. Now we have added two devices included in the list with Honor 20i & Honor 20 Lite.
Honor has officially teased the new Honor 20i on Weibo which confirms that the device will feature waterdrop notch that will carry 32MP selfie shooter. Further, the teaser reveals that the new Honor 20i will be unveiled on April 17 in China. We are still not sure if Honor is planning to re-launch the new Honor 10i as Honor 20i in China.
Further, we also spotted the alleged Honor 20i on Geekbench listing. As per the listing, the new Honor 20i is listed as HRY-AL00Ta which is powered by the Kirin 710 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and running on Android 9 Pie.
The new HRY-AL00Ta has managed to score 1535 under the single-core test and 5339 under multi-core test. This confirms that the Honor 20i might be the rebranded version of Honor 10i.
Anyway, further, we have got the new Honor 20 Lite specs along with renders leaked online. As per the source, the new Honor 20 Lite will be none other than the recently launched Huawei P30 Lite that comes with Honor branding.
The new Honor 20 Lite will sport same 6.21 inches FHD+ waterdrop display. It is powered by Kirin 710 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with microSD card slot. The device will feature a triple rear camera with 24MP+8MP+2MP similar to P30 Lite.
The new Honor 20 Lite will arrive with 32MP selfie shooter. It will still feature a 3.5 mm audio jack and old micro USB port. The new Honor 20 Lite will pack lower 3400 mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie. The Honor 20 lite will come in Black and Aurora Blue and is expected to cost over €280 (Rs.22,000/-) in Europe.
Further, we also got the first set of the case renders for the Honor 20 or Honor 20 Pro. Earlier we got the detailed specs for the new Honor 20 or Honor 20 Pro leaked which revealed triple rear cameras.
Now we have got the case renders showing the alleged Honor 20 or Honor 20 Pro. As per the renders, we can see a new Honor 20 or Honor 20 Pro might come with similar camera arrangement as seen on Huawei P30 Pro.
Sadly, we are still not sure the above case is for the Honor 20 or Honor 20 Pro at the moment as we can expect the Pro variant to come with 3D ToF camera. The case renders doesn’t show the device at all so we have to wait for a few more days to get some more leaks.
