Earlier we saw various leaks and rumors about the new Honor 20i which is expected to relaunch as Honor 20 Lite in some regions later next month. Now finally Honor has officially unveiled the new Honor 20i in China. The new Honor 20i comes in Gradient Blue, Gradient Red, and Midnight Black colors.
The Honor 20i is priced at 1599 Yuan (Rs.16,600/-) for 6GB+64GB or 4GB+128GB, 1899 Yuan (Rs.19,700/-) for 6GB+128GB and 2199 Yuan (Rs.22,800/-) for 6GB+256GB variant. The new Honor 20i will go on sale from today in China.
The new Honor 20i looks exactly similar to the recent launch Honor 10i in Russia in terms of design and comes with slightly better internals. The device features 3D lithography technology based Gradient color changing glass back which looks stunning. Honor 20i measures 7.95 mm thick and weighs around 164 grams.
The new Honor 20i sports 6.21 inches waterdrop FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080p. The new Honor 20i is powered by the Kirin 710 SoC same one found on the Honor 10 Lite coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot. The new Honor 20i also features new GPU Turbo 2.0 support.
The Honor 20i features triple rear cameras with a 24MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.8 coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide angle secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 along with 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash. On the front, we have 32MP selfie shooter.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G and Dual VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, FM Radio, NFC, micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The sad fact is that it ships with lower 3400 mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0.1 on top.
