Earlier Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 7 & Redmi Note 7 Pro in India. Now Redmi is all set to launch the successor to last year selfie phone Redmi Y2 with new Redmi Y3 in India. Earlier we saw Xiaomi India CEO Manu Jain teasing the new Redmi Y3.
Now Redmi has officially announced the launch date for the new Redmi Y3 which is scheduled on April 24 in India. The teaser confirms that the new Redmi Y3 will feature waterdrop notch which carries 32MP selfie shooter.
The Redmi Y3 is expected to use the Samsung ISOCELL GD1 32MP sensor for the selfie shooter. Further, we have spotted the new Redmi Y3 listed on Amazon which confirms that it will go on sale only through Amazon in India.
The listing also reveals that it would be powered by Qualcomm processor which might be the SD636 SoC. Further, the device will feature a huge battery that would last for two-working days on a single charge. The device will also feature spill-proof similar to Redmi Note 7.
Apart from this, nothing much about the Redmi Y3 is known yet. The new Redmi Y3 might be priced under Rs.10,000/- in India.
