Earlier we saw Huawei, Oppo, and Vivo launching their own version of fast charger up to whopping 55W which has made its debut with Oppo Find X last year. Today Huawei will launch the new Huawei P30 series which is also expected to arrive with 40W fast charging tech.
Now Xiaomi has taken the fast charging capabilities to a new level with whopping 100W fast charger being showcased in China. As per the post by Xiaomi CEO who confirms that the new Super Charge Turbo technology with 100W power can charge the device fully in just 17 minutes. So Xiaomi Super Charge Turbo makes the fastest charger out now across the globe.
As per the source, from Xiaomi Super Charge Turbo initially charges 18.1V/4.6A after 20%, then moves to 70W after 50% later about 55W at 80%. Xiaomi also compared the new Super Charge Turbocharger demo with Oppo 55W charger where Oppo managed to charge the device up to 65% in 17 min.
Sadly, we are still not sure about the pricing and availability of the new Super Charge Turbo which will be revealed later today.
