Earlier we had few rumors about Redmi Note 7 Pro to arrive with an in-display fingerprint scanner which never happened. Now XDA developers have just found out the new Android One smartphone which is expected to be the new Mi A3 & Mi A3 Lite.
As per the source, the new Mi A3 & Mi A3 Lite are codenamed as bamboo_sprout & cosmos_sprout as any Android One device does come with name sprout attached along with codename. Now Xiaomi Mi A2 didn’t do that well when compared with the original Mi A1, the company is now planning to introduce some premium features to the new Android One devices.
As per the source, the upcoming Xiaomi Android One phone might come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. As Mi A2 was the successor to Mi 6X similarly Mi A3 & Mi A3 Lite will be the successor to the new device codenamed as pyxis which is expected to be the successor to Mi 6X.
Further, the report also reveals that the three devices leaked are mid-range smartphones from Xiaomi and might feature 32MP selfie camera. All the three devices might arrive with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
Further, Xiaomi has also dropped the device with code-name orchid_sprout which was earlier rumored to be the Mi A3 and might no longer launch any device with codename orchid_sprout instead we have the new bamboo_sprout & cosmos_sprout.
