Earlier we got various leaks and rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy A20. Now Samsung has officially launched the new Samsung Galaxy A20 along with Galaxy A30 & Galaxy A50 in Russia. The new Samsung Galaxy A20 is priced at 13990 rubles (Rs.15,000/-) in Russia. Samsung has also launched the new Samsung Galaxy A40 in Europe. The new Galaxy A40 arrives in Black, Blue, Coral, and White colors. The Galaxy A40 is priced at €249 (Rs.19,600/-) in Europe and is up on sale.
Samsung Galaxy A20:
The new Samsung Galaxy A20 comes with same old design as the Galaxy A30 & Galaxy M20 with a 3D glossy plastic back. The device weighs around 160 grams and measures 7.8 mm thick. The new Samsung Galaxy A20 sports 6.4 inches HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1520*720p.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 is powered by Exynos 7884 SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. The new Samsung Galaxy A20 features Dual rear cameras with the 13MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.9 along with 5MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 with LED flash.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 features 8MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and Dual VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port, FM Radio, fingerprint scanner on the back and 3.5 mm audio jack. It packs 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI on top.
Samsung Galaxy A40:
Samsung also launched the new and slightly premium Galaxy A device with Samsung Galaxy A40 in Europe. The new Samsung Galaxy A40 again comes with same design language as the Galaxy A50 but with trimmed down specs. The new Samsung Galaxy A40 measures 7.9 mm thick.
The new Samsung Galaxy A40 sports 5.9 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. The device is powered by Exynos 7885 SoC same as Galaxy A8+ coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It comes with a dedicated microSD card slot.
The new Samsung Galaxy A40 features Dual rear cameras with a 16MP main sensor having an aperture of f/2.0 along with 5MP secondary ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and LED flash. There is 25MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 which also doubles up as face unlock.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual VoLTE and 4G support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5 mm audio jack. The new Samsung Galaxy A40 packs lower 3100 mAh battery with Samsung Adaptive fast charging support. It runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI on top.
