Moto G7 series

Earlier last week Motorola started teasing for the new Moto G7 which has finally launched in India along with Moto One Android One smartphone. The new Moto G7 & Moto One comes in clear white and ceramic black colors. The new Moto G7 and Moto One will go on sale through Flipkart and all leading offline retail stores across India.

The new Moto G7 is priced at Rs.16,999/- for 4GB+64GB whereas the Motorola One with 4GB+64GB at Rs.13,999/- which seems to be overpriced when compared with a competition where we get triple rear cameras and better specs.

Moto One:

The new Moto One will feature iPhone X like display notch and is made out of metal chassis and glass back. It weighs around 162 grams and is 7.9 mm thick.

Moto One

The new Moto One sports 5.9 inches HD+ (1520 x 720p) display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and is covered by 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by 2GHz clocked SD625 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

The Moto One features the Dual rear camera with the 13MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/2.0 and 2MP secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.4 along with LED flash. It features 8MP selfie shooter which also doubles up as Face Unlock feature.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack. All this is fueled by 3000 mAh battery along with TurboPower fast charging and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo which will be updated to Android 9 Pie later. It also features P2i water-repellent nanocoating.

Moto G7:

The next smartphone in the series is the Moto G7 which terms to be all-rounder when compared with all devices. The new Moto G7 comes with similar specs as the Moto G7 Plus but with skimmed down specs. The new Moto G7 comes with 3D Glass back with a glossy finish along with Aluminium frame and weighs around 172 grams. It measures 8.0 mm thick and will arrive in Ceramic Black and Clear White colors.

The new Moto G7 sports the same 6.2 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2270p having an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It is powered by the new SD632 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot up to 512GB.

The new Moto G7 features Dual rear cameras with a 12MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.8 with large 1.22µm pixels, PDAF, and OIS, EIS support which is coupled with the 5MP depth sensor along with LED flash. It features an 8MP selfie camera with 1.22µm pixels.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, and fingerprint scanner. It also comes with P2i nano-coating that protects the device from regular water splashes. All this is packed by lower 3000 mAh battery with support for 15W TurboPower charging mode and runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
