Google annual Developer Conference is still a month ahead and the Company has already announced its new cloud gaming service with Stadia in the US. The new service Stadia not only allows gamers to play the game but also makes them stream on YouTube and allow game developers to build games.
The new Stadia doesn’t require any powerful hardware to play your favorite game just any device like a smartphone or Chromecast-enabled TV or your PC/ Laptop with Chrome browser installed. You don’t even need to download the game which you wish to play. Google also demoed how seamlessly one can play the game on any hardware and also switch between devices without any lag.
To play games one can connect with controllers or buy one from Google who also launched Stadia Controllers to play games which comes with basic D-Type pad along with XYAB button and Shoulder buttons which connect with Wifi to play the game. The controller also comes with Google Assistant button and allows one to stream the game on YouTube.
Apart from streaming the game, YouTube Creators can also allow them to share the link of the exact game which is streamed. The fans can join the game along with streamer and play along with them which is called a Crowd Play feature of Stadia. Google has initially partnered with a few popular Game developers like Ubisoft and would add some unique games in the coming weeks.
The new Google Stadia gaming service will initially available in the US, and then Canada, UK, and Europe by this year and will later expand to other countries. Google has not revealed the pricing details of the new Google Stadia.
