Earlier we had a series of leaks and rumors doing around about Apple planning to bring the successor to iPad Mini 4 with iPad Mini 5 and here we have the new 2019 iPad Mini along with all-new 2019 iPad Air launched. Both the new iPad Mini 5 and 2019 iPad Air haven’t been updated for two years and are making comeback this year.
The new 2019 iPad Mini comes in same old Space Gray and Rose Gold colors and is priced at Rs 34,900 for the Wi-Fi only variant, and Rs 45,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant. The 2019 iPad Air too comes with similar colors and priced at Rs 44,900 for the Wi-Fi only variant and Rs 55,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant. At the moment we are still not sure about the availability of the new iPad’s.
2019 iPad Mini:
Apple has re-introduced the new 2019 iPad Mini with the same old bottle but new wine. It looks strikingly similar to iPad Mini 4 and sports the same 7.9 inches Retina HD display with a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536p. The new 2019 iPad Mini measures slimmer at just 6.1 mm thick and weighs 299 grams. It comes with an all-metal body similar to iPad Mini 4.
The 2019 iPad Mini is powered by the latest Apple A12 Bionic SoC coupled with a 64GB/256GB storage option. It comes with stereo speakers for better audio and still features 3.5 mm audio jack along with fingerprint scanner or TouchID. The new iPad Mini comes with Apple Pencil support.
The other connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, lightning port, A-GPS, GLONASS and 10 Hours standby time for Wifi only variant. The new iPad Mini features 8MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.4 along with AF and 7MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2 along with Retina Flash.
2019 iPad Air:
Apart from that, Apple has also refreshed its iPad Air lineup which was also not updated past few years. The new iPad Air also looks exactly similar to the older gen of iPad Air. The 2019 iPad Air sports 10.5 inches Retina True Tone display with a resolution of 2224x1668p. It measures 6.1 mm thick and weighs around 456 grams. It also made out of the all-metal back.
