Earlier we had numerous leaks and rumors about the first Redmi flagship which is under wraps and is expected to launch later this year. Earlier we also got leaks from the various source, that Redmi is planning to launch the first SD855 powered flagship.
Now Lu Weibing just confirmed the news of Redmi making a flagship phone with SD855 SoC official on the popular social media Weibo. Lu Weibing posted an image shot in the Xiaomi R&D center in Shenzen where the team discussed for the new Redmi flagship phone.
The team had discussed not one but about two new phones which will be launched later this year. So finally we have a high-end premium smartphone from Redmi coming this year which is a big move after launching a budget smartphone for many years.
