Earlier we had few rumors about Xiaomi working on the successor to last year launched Redmi 6 with Redmi 7. After announcing the Mi 9 series and Redmi Note 7 we now have the new device with Redmi 7.
Now the alleged Redmi 7 has just passed through FCC certification in the US. As per the listing, the new Redmi 7 is listed as Xiaomi M180F6LG. The same model number earlier was approved by IMDA which revealed the device was Redmi 7.
As per the FCC, the new Redmi 7 measures 157 x 76mm with 162 mm diagonally which confirms it will sport 6.2 inches display. As per the schematics, the new Redmi 7 will feature a single rear camera which is strange as Redmi 6 arrive with Dual rear cameras. Further, the Redmi 7 is running on Android 9 Pie out of the box with MIUI 10 on top.
The FCC listing also reveals that the new Redmi 7 will come in 3GB/4GB RAM coupled with 32GB/64GB storage variants. Apart from this, nothing much about the device is leaked at the moment.
