Vivo is all set to introduce the new budget smartphone in China today with Vivo U1. Vivo has now started teasing the new Vivo U1 which shows off the front with Waterdrop notch and thinner bezels covering the display.
As per the teaser, the new Vivo U1 becomes the first U-series smartphone which will feature the U-shaped notch. Anyway, we also got the press renders along with specs leaked ahead of official launch. As per the source, the new Vivo U1 will feature dewdrop display at the front along with Dual rear cameras aligned vertically with LED flash. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The new Vivo U1 will sport 6.2 inches large HD+ waterdrop display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The new Vivo U1 measures 155.11mm x 75.09mm x 8.28mm & weighs 164 grams. The new Vivo U1 will arrive in three colors with Starry Night Black, Aurora, and Aurora Red.
The new Vivo U1 is powered by the SD439 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options. It also comes with a microSD card slot. The new Vivo U1 features dual rear cameras with a primary 13MP lens having an aperture of f/2.2 along with the 2MP secondary sensor with LED flash. It features 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE, Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio support. The new Vivo U1 packs 4030 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.5 on top. The new Vivo U1 with 3GB+32GB is priced at 799 Yuan ( Rs.8500/-), 3GB+64GB at 999 Yuan (Rs.10,500/-) and 4GB+64GB at 1199 Yuan (Rs.12,700/-).
