Earlier we had got render showing the new Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition featuring quad cameras. We also got the pricing details of the new Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition leaked. Today, we finally got the first live image of the new Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition.
As per the source, the new Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition we can see the new design with the transparent back which shows the processor similar to the predecessor. Sadly, the new Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition will feature triple-rear cameras and not the Quad cameras as per earlier leaks.
The new images were posted by none other than Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on his Weibo page. We can see there is a circular coil on the back which shows the power logo that indirectly confirms that the device will ship with 20W fast wireless charging tech. Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition looks a lot better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition.
Further, the Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed that the new transparent edition of Mi 9 to come with a 48MP primary rear sensor with an aperture of f/1.45 and the top end model with whopping 12GB RAM to be called as Xiaomi Mi 9 Alita: Battle Angel Edition. The back of the device is made out of 4-layer glass which of 0.4mm thick. It also features a thinner 0.3mm aluminum sheet that has the new “micro-carving creation”.
Apart from that, we also got the pricing details leaked for the new Mi 9 along with Mi 9 Explorer Editon. As per the source, the new Xiaomi Mi 9 with 6GB+64GB is priced at 3300 Yuan (Rs.35,000/-), 8GB+128GB at 3500 Yuan (Rs.37,000/-), & 8GB+256GB at 3700 Yuan (Rs.39,000/-). The new Mi 9 Transparent Edition with 8GB+256GB is priced at 5000 Yuan (Rs.52,800/-) and the Mi 9 Explorer Editon with 8GB RAM at 6000 Yuan (Rs.63,400/-) in China.
