Earlier we saw Huawei betting high on the first 5G Foldable phone which is scheduled to launch at MWC 2019. Now Samsung has just made shocking entry as it is also launching the 5G variant of the Galaxy Fold but for select markets.
As per the source, Samsung will unveil 5G Galaxy Fold along with Galaxy Fold but the 5G variant will not be available globally due to lack of 5G networks in some countries. Samsung has already begun works on 5G Galaxy Fold which will come with model number SM-F907N and will be exclusive to South Korea.
Currently, Carriers has already completed the 5G networks deployment and are waiting for smartphone manufacturers to launch the compatible devices. With Samsung rolling out the Galaxy Fold Globally we can expect 5G Galaxy Fold to hit the US too later this year as it will be the next country to receive the 5G rollout. Further, the source also revealed the colors for the 4G and 5G Galaxy Fold with Blue, Green, Silver and Black colors.
