Earlier we saw Samsung dumping the Gear brand for its smartwatch portfolio and launching it as Samsung Galaxy Watch. Looks like Samsung wants to get rid of the Gear branding as now we have spotted the first Galaxy-branded wireless earbuds with Samsung Galaxy Buds on Bluetooth SIG certification.
As per the listing, the new Samsung Galaxy Buds comes with the model number SM-R170 which has been certified with Bluetooth 5.0 support from Bluetooth SIG certification. Earlier we also spotted the device with same model number SM-R170 which was in works.
As per the source, the new SM-R170 will arrive with 8GB of internal storage to load some music and will arrive in three colors with Black, White, and Yellow. The new Samsung Galaxy Buds will have better battery life than the predecessor. We can expect the new Samsung Galaxy Buds to make its debut along with Galaxy S10 series.
