Nokia is all set to launch a few new smartphones for 2019 later next month at MWC 2019. Earlier we saw Nokia CFO Juho Sarvikas confirming the launch event held in MWC 2019 at Barcelona. Now industry insider has got the renders along with detailed specs of the upcoming budget Android Go based smartphone with Nokia 1 Plus.
Earlier last year at MWC 2018 Nokia launched the cheapest smartphone with Nokia 1 and now the company is planning to introduce the successor with Nokia 1 Plus at MWC 2019. The new Nokia 1 Plus will come with a new 18:9 aspect ratio display having a resolution of 480*960p. We are still not sure about the size of the display.
The new Nokia 1 Plus is powered by the new Mediatek MT6739WW chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The new Nokia 1 Plus runs on the latest Android 9 Pie Go edition out of the box. Sadly, no details about the camera and battery capacity. We might expect the new Nokia 1 Plus might cost below Rs.6000.
