Earlier we saw a series of renders leaks for the budget to a mid-range smartphone with Moto G7 series and today we finally go the first set of 3D CAD renders for the upcoming Moto Z4 Play.
Motorola launched the Moto Z3 Play along with 5G Moto Mod which was also touted to be one of the best phones but was overpriced and the device never reached Indian shores. Now we finally have the successor with Moto Z4 Play all in works and we now got the first look of the device.
As per the renders, the new Moto Z4 Play will have Moto G7 like waterdrop display which is going to be the trend in 2019. It will sport 6.2 inches unknown resolution display with almost thinner bezels and slightly thicker bezels at the chin portion.
On the back, we have traditional Motorola design with circular camera module featuring just a single rear camera which is disappointing as Moto Z3 Play had Dual rear camera. There is Moto branding which might not feature the fingerprint scanner instead will arrive with an in-display fingerprint sensor. At the bottom, we have the magnetic strip so that one can connect with various Moto Mod.
The new Moto Z4 Play is expected to launch no earlier than April or May of this year. It is expected to be powered by SD675 or SD670 SoC and will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box. There is 3.5 mm audio jack along with USB Type-C port on the bottom of the device. It measures 158 x 75 x 7.25 mm.
