Earlier we had various rumors about the Xiaomi upcoming flagship scheduled to launch at MWC 2019 in Barcelona later next month. We also spotted the alleged Mi 9 on Geekbench which was powered by the latest SD855 SoC.
Now Xiaomi Lei Jun has finally confirmed that they are working on Mi 9. During the interaction with Mi fans on Weibo, one of the fans asked whether Mi 9 will arrive with 24W or higher charging power? to which Lei Jun answered that the new Mi 9 will come with better charging power.
So with this reply, we can expect Xiaomi might soon launch the first flagship with Mi 9 later this year. Sadly, we are still not sure whether Mi 9 will make its debut at MWC 2019 or not at the moment.
