Earlier we had few rumors about Huawei planning to take on the Samsung alleged Galaxy F with its new foldable smartphone with 5G support. Now the company has officially confirmed its plans of unveiling the 5G device later next month.
As per reports by Reuters, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu just confirmed its plans of introducing the world’s first foldable smartphone with 5G support at MWC 2019 in Barcelona later next month.
Further, he claimed that the 5G Foldable phone will be commercialized as early as April 2019 and is expected to be powered by the company’s own modem Balong 5000 for 5G connectivity. Further, Richard Yu claimed that they will soon capture the number 1 position in the smartphone market by end of 2019 or early 2020.
