Earlier Huawei and Honor started pushing out the much-awaited Android 9 Pie update to its premium to newly launched mid-range devices. Now Honor has announced the list of 2018 launched a mid-range smartphone powered by Kirin 659 SoC which will receive the new Android 9 Pie update.
As per the source, Honor has currently started rolling out the beta version of Android 9 Pie update to the most popular smartphone Honor 7X in China. It also includes the latest EMUI 9.0 on top. The model number includes BND-AL00, BND-TL10 and BND-AL10. As the development is started now we can expect the new Honor 7X will likely to get the stable Android 9 Pie update in coming months.
International users, Honor has now confirmed that they will start rolling out the Beta Android 9 Pie update to Honor 7X starting from June 2019 which is too late when compared to the Chinese variant. So Honor 7X user must have to wait a bit longer to receive the stable Android 9 Pie update.
Apart from that, the other devices which will get the new Android 9 Pie update include Honor 7S, Honor Play 7X, Honor Enjoy 8 Plus, Honor 9i, and Honor 9 Youth Edition. All the device will soon receive the beta version of Android 9 Pie update.
