HP the leading brand in PC and laptops has now launched a bunch of laptops at the annual tech event CES 2019. The new HP Spectre X360 with AMOLED display will go on sale sometime in March and will unveil the specs when the device is closer to the launch. The HP OMEN 15 gaming laptops will be made available in the coming months and NVIDIA’s next-gen GPUs will start at $1,370 (Rs.95,700/-).
The new HP Spectre X360 which comes with x360 15 gen features 15.6 inches AMOLED display which is also the hardware part of the device. Further, the new x360 15 also comes with HDR support that provides a great gaming experience. Sadly, HP didn’t reveal the resolution of the display used. The new HP Spectre X360 comes with Intel’s quad-core Whiskey Lake-U processors coupled with NVIDIA’s discrete GeForce GTX GPUs.
The next laptop is the refreshed version of the popular HP Omen Gaming laptop. The new HP OMEN 15 gaming laptop sports 15.6 inches FHD display with 240Hz refresh rates. The device is powered by the Intel’s six-core Core i7-8750H processor and NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q GPU. It packs with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB M.2 SSD along with 1TB 7200 RPM HDD.
The new HP OMEN 15 gaming laptop will also get new Wifi Controller by end of this year. HP OMEN 15 gaming laptop weighs around 2.38 Kg and is having 2.48 thick chassis. the connectivity option includes 32 GB of DDR4-2667, Thunderbolt 3, 802.11ac Wi-Fi along with latest Wifi 6 support. It also features HP Wide Vision HD Webcam. It runs on Windows 10 Home.
The next device is the affordable HP Chromebook 14 which comes with an AMD processor for the first time. The HP Chromebook 14 comes with 14-inch HD SVA display with anti-glare coating on top. The HP Chromebook 14 is powered y the AMD A4 9120C processor coupled with GCN 1.2-based Radeon R4 iGPU with 128 SPs operating at 720 MHz.
The device comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB of local eMMC storage. The connectivity option includes Qualcomm 802.11ac Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 4.2 controller, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, a microSD card reader, a dual microphone array, B&O-badged speakers, a webcam. HP claims that the new HP Chromebook 14 can last for 9 hours on a single charge of 15 minutes.
