Dell the top PC-maker has now unveiled its 2019 lineup of laptops and other devices at the annual tech event CES 2019. Dell has unveiled the new G5 & G7 Gaming laptops along with flagship gaming laptop Alienware Area-51m which also includes m15, m17 gaming laptops.
Alienware Area-51m, m15 & m17:
Dell Gaming sub-brand Alienware has now launched its flagship gaming laptop with Alienware Area-51m in the CES. The new Alienware Area-51m sports 17 inches FHD anti-glare IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rates. The device also features NVIDIA G-SYNC and Tobii eye-tracking technology.
The new Alienware Area-51m is powered by 9th Gen Intel Core i7/i9 processor coupled with GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB GDDR6 RAM, GeForce RTX 2070 with 8GB of GDDR6 RAM or a GeForce RTX 2080 with 8GB of GDDR6 RAM. It arrives with RAM up to 64GB and up to 1TB HDD or 1TB SDD+1TB HDD storage space. The Area-51m uses socketed Intel Z390 motherboard.
Alienware Area-51m is made out of Aluminium chassis and comes in Lunar Light or Dark Side of the moon colors. The Connectivity option includes three USB 3.1 ports (Type-A), a Thunderbolt 3 port (Type-C), HDMI 2.0, Mini-DisplayPort 1.4, headphone and microphone sockets, Gigabit Ethernet, and an Alienware Graphics Amplifier port. It packs 95Whr battery.
Alienware also unveiled the m17 & m15 gaming laptops which are basically having the same specs but with 8th Gen Core i5/i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 Series GPUs. The new Alienware Area 51m is priced at whopping $2,549 (Rs.1,79,800/-) and will go on sale from Jan 29. The Alienware m15 is priced at $1379.99 (Rs.97,500/-) and goes up to $1579.99 (Rs.1,11,500/-) and Alienware m17 at $1649.99 (Rs.1,16,400/-) will go on sale from Jan 29.
Dell G5 & G7 Gaming laptops:
Dell has also unveiled the latest version of its gaming lineup with Dell G5 & Dell G7 in the CES. The new Dell G5 & G7 gaming laptops come in various screen sizes. Let’s start with the Dell G5 which sports 15 inches FHD display with a refresh rate of 60Hz/144Hz and another variant with UHD display having 60Hz refresh rates.
The new Dell G5 series is powered by the 8th gen Intel Core i5-8300HQ /i7-8750HQ processor coupled with various GPU options GTX 1050Ti, GeForce RTX 2060, GeForce RTX 2070, and GeForce RTX 2080 with Max-Q design.
The device ships with RAM up to 32GB along with 1TB HDD, 1TB NVMe SSD or a hybrid storage option with a maximum of 2TB HDD coupled with 1TB of NVMe SSD storage. It comes with two battery options with 4-cell 60Whr battery and a 6-cell 90WHr battery. The Dell G5 15 inches base variant cost $999.99 (Rs.70,100/-) and will go on sale from Jan 29.
The Dell G7 sports 15inches and 17inches display variants with full-HD with 60Hz panel or 144Hz refresh rate and a UHD OLED panel with 60Hz refresh rate. The new Dell G7 is powered by the same 8th gen Intel Core i5-8300HQ /i7-8750HQ processor coupled with various GPU options GTX 1050Ti, GeForce RTX 2060, GeForce RTX 2070, and GeForce RTX 2080 with Max-Q design.
The new Dell G7 ships with 8GB/16GB RAM along with 1TB of hybrid HDD, 1TB of NVMe SSD or multiple dual storage options. It comes with two battery options with 4-cell 60Whr battery and a 6-cell 90WHr battery. The Dell G7 17-inches is priced at $1380 (Rs.96,900/-) whereas the 15 inches at $1099 (Rs.77,100/-) and will be available from Jan 29.
The company has also unveiled the new Dell XPS 13, Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 with the Latest Intel Core Chips along with Dell Cinema service including CinemaColor 2.0, CinemaSound 2.0, and CinemaStream 2.0 and advancements to the Mobile Connect service alongside. The Dell XPS 13 is priced at $899.99 (Rs.63,500/-) and will go on sale from Feb 2019.
