Earlier we had few rumors about Xiaomi planning to launch a good camera smartphone. Now the rumor might turn true as Xiaomi President Lin Bin has just revealed that they are working on camera smartphone.
As per the post on Weibo, Lin Bin jus posted the picture of the 48MP camera where he further confirmed that it will be launched by January 2019. The next post on Weibo by MIUI team added the new 48MP camera smartphone is running on MIUI 10 out of the box.
Anyway, as per the image, we can confirm that the new device will feature a vertically aligned camera with LED flash below it. The device will be made out glass back with metal chassis. We can expect Xiaomi upcoming smartphone might feature a dual camera with a 48MP primary sensor which might be the recently launched Samsung ISOCELL Plus GM1 or the Sony IMX586 Sensor.
