Xiaomi is all set to unveil the new Xiaomi Mi Play later today in China. Earlier we had got few teasers and live images showing the new Xiaomi Mi Play. Now we have the unboxing and hands-on video of the new Xiaomi Mi Play leaked.
As per the video, we can see the new Xiaomi Mi Play featuring the waterdrop display which also features face unlock via selfie camera. Apart from this, nothing much about the device is revealed but we also got few other press material which provides the specs and pricing of the device.
As per the source, the new Xiaomi Mi Play will be powered by unknown MediaTek SoC and not the Snapdragon chipset. As per rumors, the device might ship with MediaTek Helio P70 SoC which made its debut with Realme U1. The Xiaomi Mi Play will be coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The device will sport 5.84 inches FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9.
The Xiaomi Mi Play will pack lower 3000 mAh battery and will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 on top. It will feature a 12MP+5MP dual rear camera with AI support. The new Xiaomi Mi Play will be priced at 1699 Yuan (Rs.17,300/-) in China. Anyway, we are just left with few more hours for the official launch.
