Samsung has finally unveiled the SDC2018 showcased Infinity-O display smartphone with Samsung Galaxy A8s in China. The new Samsung Galaxy A8s will go on pre-orders from Dec 21 in China and Samsung has not yet announced the pricing details for the device. The new Samsung Galaxy A8s will be available in Blue, Gray, and Green colors.
Samsung has finally won the battle by launching the new display hole smartphone under mid-range segment with Samsung Galaxy A8s. The new Samsung Galaxy A8s comes with metal and glass back with a glossy finish. The new Samsung Galaxy A8s will ship with larger 6.7 mm a display hole size which is larger than 4.5mm on Honor V20.
The new Samsung Galaxy A8s weighs around 173 grams and is 7.4 mm thick. The Samsung Galaxy A8s sports 6.4 inches Infinity-O FHD+ Display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 2.5D curved glass on top. The new Samsung Galaxy A8s is powered by SD710 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The memory can be expanded via microSD card up to 512GB.
The new Samsung Galaxy A8s feature triple rear cameras with a 24MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.7, a 10MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.4, 2x optical zoom and 5MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 coupled with Dual LED flash. It also features 24MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Band Wifi, VHT80, NFC, and USB Type-C port. All this is fueled by 3400 mAh battery with Samsung Adaptive fast charging support. The Samsung Galaxy A8s runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI on top.
