OnePlus has earlier promised the new Android 9 Pie update for the last year flagship killer the OnePlus 5 & OnePlus 5T which had also got a series of beta updates in the past. Now OnePlus has fulfilled its promise and starts pushing the stable Android 9 Pie update to OnePlus 5 & OnePlus 5T.
The new update brings the new Gaming mode 3.0, new notifications for messages and OnePlus 5T receives the full gesture navigation support. Sadly, OnePlus 5 comes with physical buttons so there is no gesture support added for the device.
Further, the new OTA update also adds the latest December version Android Security patch. It also gets the new DND feature along with support for Google Lens through default camera app. Do note that its OTA update and will take time to hit your device.
