Earlier we had rumors about OnePlus planning to launch the first 5G phone later next year by MWC 2019. Today OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that they will launch the first 5G phone later next year.
As per the source, the Pete Lau told that OnePlus 5G phone will be launched before May 2019. Further, he confirmed that they are also planning to collaborate with 5G network providers. OnePlus also confirmed that they will keep the pricing of their 2019 lineup under $1000.
Pete Lau provided us a hint which states that the OnePlus 5G phone might cost between $700-$800. Further, Pete Lau stated that the 5G phone will look similar to any other OnePlus 4G smartphone which we already saw. He also states that OnePlus 7 will not have 5G support instead will have the same design but with different internals.
