Earlier we saw many Nokia smartphone receiving the new Android 9 Pie update even the two-year-old flagship the Nokia 8. Now Nokia CPO Juro Sarvikas took Twitter to share the news that the company has started rolling out the new Android 9 Pie update.
The new Android 9 Pie update for Nokia 5.1 Plus brings the Adaptive brightness and battery feature along with newer settings menu and notifications. It also gets the predictive app’s actions. The update also brings the latest Android Security patch with December edition. The new update weighs around 1.2GB in size and is recommended to update the device via a stable Wifi connection.
The company has also started rolling out the new Android 9 Pie update to Nokia 6.1 Plus. The new update brings back the capability to hide the notch which was removed earlier. The new update weighs just 345MB in size and also fixes some major bugs. It also gets the new December version Android Security patch.
