Huawei had earlier promised that they will provide the much awaited Android 9 Pie update to all flagship by end of this year. Now Huawei has already started rolling out the Android 9 Pie update to Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei Mate 10 Pro sold in Europe.
Huawei has officially announced that the stable version of Android 9 Pie along with EMUI 9.0 on top is being pushed to the Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei Mate 10 Pro in Europe. The new update gets the cleaner and faster UI with gesture-based navigation support.
Further, Huawei sub-brand Honor is also rolling out the stable Android 9 Pie update to Honor V10, Honor View 10 and Honor Play. The new Android 9 Pie update with EMUI 9.0 is rolling out to Honor View 10 devices in India. The new update will bring HiVision which is AI feature similar to Google Lens, WPS with HiAI and Hi-Touch.
As it is OTA update and might take some time to hit your device. We are still not sure about when will the new Android 9 Pie update hit for other countries at the moment.
