Earlier we spotted the new Honor 8A on TENAA which revealed the specs along with renders of the device. Today we have another new variant of the Honor 8A with Honor 8A Pro has recently passed through FCC.
As per the listing, the alleged Honor 8A Pro comes with the model number JAT-LX3. It looks similar to Honor 8A in terms of design. The new Honor 8A Pro sports same waterdrop display at the front with a single selfie camera. On the back, we have the single rear camera with LED flash and fingerprint scanner.
The new Honor 8A Pro is built out of metal unibody as per the leaked images. Apart from that, we also spotted various variant of Honor 8A Pro & Honor 8A receiving the Wifi certification through Wifi Alliance. As per the listing the device with model number JAT-LX1, JAT-LX3, JAT-L41, JAT-AL00, and JAT-L29 have just received the single band aka 2.4 GHz Wifi support.
Further, the listing reveals that the Honor 8A is being powered by the MediaTek SoC and is running on Android 9 Pie out of the box. We are still not sure when will Honor announce the two new budget handset.
