Honor the sub-brand of Huawei earlier teased the new Honor V20 aka Honor View 20 to go globally on Jan 22 and will launch in China on Dec 26. Earlier we had a series of leaks and rumors about the device. Now in an official event in China Honor has shown the new Honor V20 with display hole.
As per the source, Honor had officially teased the Honor V20 in Hong Kong event which will sport the Huawei Nova 4 like bezel-less display with a hole that carries the selfie camera. Further Honor also confirmed that the new Honor V20 will ship with 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor for the single rear camera.
Honor also announced the new Link Turbo technology which uses both Wifi+4G during poor public networks. Honor didn’t reveal the specs of the device but confirmed that the new Honor V20 will ship with 4.5 mm hole for a selfie camera and has marketed as FullView Display 3.0.
As expected the new Honor V20 will be powered by Kirin 980 SoC and uses the Sony IMX586 48MP single sensor with 1/2-inch sensor along with Quad Bayer. Honor is launching the new Honor V20 with the single 48MP sensor over the Dual or triple camera sensors on other smartphones.
