Asus is all set to unveil the successor to the most popular budget smartphone the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 & Zenfone Max M1 on Dec 11 in Thailand. Earlier we had got various leaks and rumors for the new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 & Zenfone Max M2. Now we finally have got the official press renders of the new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 & Zenfone Max M2 leaked.
As per the source, the new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 & Zenfone Max M2 will have almost similar design and will arrive with display notch. On the back, the new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 & Zenfone Max M2 will feature a dual camera along with Dual LED flash and fingerprint scanner and not the triple camera which was rumored earlier.
The difference between the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 & Zenfone Max M2 is the Pro variant comes with premium glass back whereas the non-Pro is made out of metal. Apart from that, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is powered by SD660 SoC whereas the Asus Zenfone Max M2 with SD636 SoC. Both the devices are coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage options.
Both the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 & Zenfone Max M2 sports similar 6.0 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with slightly smaller notch when compared with Asus Zenfone Max M2 which has the wider notch.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 features 12MP primary rear camera using Sony IMX486 sensor along with 5MP secondary camera whereas the Asus Zenfone Max M2 uses 13MP primary sensor and we still don’t have details about the secondary sensor.
The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is fueled by a mammoth 5000 mAh battery. Further Asus officially announces that the new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will arrive with Corning Gorilla 6 Glass on top and will land India on the same date with Dec 11. The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will again be exclusive to Flipkart.
