Honor is on roll after announcing the new Honor View 20 we now have another device in the pipeline with Honor 8 Play. We have now spotted an entry-level to mid-range smartphone passing through the TENAA certification in China which is might be called Honor 8 Play.
As per the listing, the alleged Honor 8 Play is listed as JAT-AL00 and JAT-TL00 which might be the two variants of the device. The new Honor JAT-AL00 sports 6.08 inches HD+ display with a resolution of 1520*720p having an aspect ratio of 19:9.
The alleged Honor 8 Play is powered by unknown 2.3 GHz clocked Octa-core CPU coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage option. The memory can be expanded via microSD card slot. The Honor JAT-AL00 features a single rear camera with 13MP whereas single selfie camera of 8MP.
Sadly, the new Honor JAT-AL00 will not ship with a fingerprint scanner and rely on face unlock. It packs lower 2900 mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Sadly, we still didn’t get the renders of the device leaked.
As per TENAA, the Honor JAT-AL00 will ship in black, blue, gold, and red colors and measures 156.28 x 73.5 x 8.0 mm. The device weighs around 150 grams. We expect the new Honor JAT-AL00 might launch as Honor 8 Play which will be globally called as Honor 8s.
