Qualcomm is all set to unveil the latest flagship chipset for 2019 with Snapdragon 8150 later this year. Earlier we had even spotted the device powered by Snapdragon 8150 chipset on Geekbench. Now we have a new leak which states that Qualcomm might also introduce two new mid-range chipsets with Snapdragon 6150 & 7150.
As per the source, Qualcomm is currently testing the two new 2019 mid-range chipset with SD6150 & SD7150. The new SD6150 might be the located below the SD7150. Both the chipsets are Octa-Core SoC with new cryo CPU cores. At the moment there are no details about the GPU used.
As per the source, the new SD6150 might be the cheapest SoC as it can support display resolution up to 2160*1080p with a screen size of 5.99 inches whereas the SD7150 can support screen resolution up to QHD+. So SD7150 might be powering some of the premium mid-range smartphones later next year.
The new SD6150 can support Dual 12MP+13MP rear camera along with 13MP single selfie camera. The SD7150 can support the same set of the Dual rear camera as SD6150 but with 20MP selfie camera. As per the report, SD6150 is likely built on an 11nm process similar to SD675 SoC.
