Earlier we had few reports about Huawei planning to launch the new foldable smartphone which will use the Chinese OEM BOE made foldable displays. With 5G making its way to consumer later next year we might see many brands betting high on the next-gen communication to launch few devices soon.
During the Huawei Innovation Day 2018, Huawei President in Western Europe Vincent Pang, just announced that they will soon launch the first 5G smartphone next year. Further Vincent Pang, told that it could be the first foldable smartphone with 5G support.
Vincent Pang also told us that the World’s first foldable smartphone with 5G support will be showcased in MWC 2019 at Barcelona. With already taking the second place in global smartphone shipments we can expect Huawei might soon take the top position by defeating Samsung.
